Boston
If you have time, we highly recommend that you visit the city that we call home, Boston. It is one of the most historic cities in the US with so many amazing things to do! We've listed some of our absolute favorite places below: Acorn Street - One of the oldest streets in Boston, and where we got engaged! Located in Beacon Hill, adjacent to the Commons Boston Public Gardens Fenway Park - Home of the Red Sox (But go Mets and O's) The South End - Our lovely neighborhood full of dreamy brick walkups and amazing restaurants! The Old City - Visit some of America's oldest history - Stroll the Freedom Trail, visit Faneuil Hall, and stumble across to the North End if you'd like some homemade Italian food or a cannoli (Carmelina's and Mikes are our favorites!) The Esplanade - Take a walk along the Charles River for the best view of the city! Night Shift Brew Co. sits along the way, in case you get thirsty :)
Plymouth
If you have some free time before the party starts on Saturday, we highly recommend walking around the town of Plymouth! If you didn't know, Plymouth is where the Mayflower landed in 1620! Today, Plymouth is full of boutique shops, great restaurants, beautiful harbor views, and historic landmarks. Here are some of our favorite places for you to explore: Keegan Kreations: A local bakery that is making all of our wedding desserts! You will not be disappointed if you visit either of their locations! Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower: Although VERY anticlimactic, the Mayflower replica and Plymouth rock are must sees, just to say you did! Salt: An amazing fusion restaurant that we highly recommend! Sugar baby: A lovely cocktail lounge! Artisan Pig & Second Wind Brew Co.: In case you didn't get enough on Friday night, or you missed the festivities, these places are our favorites for pizza and beer! Downtown and harbor: Lot's of antique stores, cafes, and great seafood shacks!
