There is a wide variety of activities on offer here both water and land based so there is something for everyone to enjoy. If you want to swim then this lake is our number one recommendation and there is a separate smaller paddling lake for the children too. There are restaurants at either end of the lake and purpose built bbq pits at the far end making bbqs a breeze.
Pointe des Mossettes undoubtedly has one of the best views in the Alps and sits right on the border of France and Switzerland. At 2277 metres above sea level, it’s the highest accessible point in the Portes du Soleil.
Le Pleney is the closest and most accessible mountain in Morzine. It has spectacular 360 degree views and there is so much to see and do at the summit. During the main summer season (late June to the end of August) the telecabine is open everyday to pedestrians and cyclists allowing quick and easy access to the summit. Bearing right as you leave the lovely Farmhouse hotel, a short five minute walk through the charming alpine village centre will take you to the foot of the Pleney mountain. The lift station has a ticket office on the lower level of the station.

This lake is the perfect summer family day out destination. Nestled just above the village of Les Gets, our neighbouring village, the lake has a wonderful view and is perfect for a swim. The lake is surrounded by flat grassy areas which are perfect for sunbathing, picnicking or playing games. There is a play park for children, a water slide, beach volleyball court, football/basketball court, table tennis tables, a high ropes course and a wonderful restaurant.
