Cocora Valley in Colombia is famous for having the world's tallest palm trees. It's more commonly known in Spanish as “Valle Del Cocora”. The wax palm trees in Cocora Valley grow up to 60 meters (200 feet)! The most popular options for seeing the Cocora Valley is either hiking or horseback riding.
Santa Rosa de Cabal and Hot Springs
Santa Rosa de Cabal is a small town located in Risaralda. It is a 2 hours drive from the venue but it is worth it. If you decide to go, we recommend you make it a day trip so that you can also enjoy the hot springs.
Horseback Riding and Mountain biking
Quindio has great horseback riding and mountain biking trails with beautiful views. We recommend you book a private tour with a local guide.
Coffee Farm Tour
Quindio is the center of the coffee region of Colombia. There are many coffee farms in the area. You can book a tour and learn how coffee is processed and also enjoy a fresh cup of the best coffee. ** We are already planning a coffee farm tour on December 17th.
