The Mikolajczaks

We met in 2019 through my Aunt Amber, and we were hog hunting... of all places. We hung out the whole day and Jared was so afraid to ask how old I was or ask my name. He finally asked how old I was and realized he really wanted to get to know me. We went to a bay and he told himself "this girl isn’t that about it"... she’s probably just gonna stay at the buggy. But, little did he know, I was all about it. I jumped down into the creek and ran to that hog and beat him to the bay. He later told me that he let me beat him to that bay because he was checking me out. Well, after we got done with that bay we went to another bay, and then we ran into a creek that looked pretty deep so we didn’t want to cross. We sent a bulldog in to catch the hog while someone was going around the other side of the creek. We let the dog go and one of the dogs vest got hung to a downed tree that covered half the creek and Ronnie's dog was drowning. Jared gives me all his belongings and I laugh thinking "he doesn’t know me from Adam" and he just gave me his wallet! He goes in after this dog and the dog pulls him into the water, he came up out of the water and you could tell the water was freezing. Once we got him and the dog out of the water, we went back to the truck so he could change his clothes. He stripped his shirt off,,,, and I’m not gonna lie.... "I was totally checking him out!" I tried to make it not so obvious, but he saw me anyway and grinned. We went the rest of the hunt trying not to be awkward. After that hunt we went our separate ways and didn’t exchange any information. About a week or two later we finally meet again at another hunt with my Aunt Amber. We spent the whole hunt flirting and teasing each other. After the hunt was over, Jared asked me very "cute like" if he could have my Snapchat and the rest was history. Now we still hog hunt together with our very own dogs. He has picked up roping, and we do that together. Now, we are starting our happily ever after!🤍
