we're getting married!

She was a convert and he was a recent return missionary who ended up in the YSA Valentine Ward. Jared was hesitant to leave his home ward in Madera, but his bishop told him there was something good waiting for him in YSA. After some resisting he ended up attending church January 15, 2017 and staring at her for almost half of the service. She can't lie she was pretty captivated by "the handsome young man who had served a mission" (quoted from my journal entry of January 16, 2017). After getting to know each other for a couple of months Jared asked her out on their first date of many to come March 15, 2017. All they can say is God's timing is the best timing!

Jared asked her out on their first date March 5, 2017 and decided he wanted to ask her to marry him the same day of a different month. However, the drive to the place where he would propose took up the day he planned to do it. The next day, that Sunday, he took her to the restaurant where they had their first date an hour away from the place they were staying because there wasn't one in town. Neither one minded the drive. Next, they headed back to Rio Del Mar, a beach in Santa Cruz, where Jared would propose. He was nervous out of his mind, and she was having trouble keeping up with him because he was walking so fast. When they had finally come to the spot where he proposed she said "HECK YES!", and he could finally breathe again. The two are so excited to start their new lives together and are so excited to have you be a part of it!
