As many of you know our story starts well before we started dating in November of 2017. Growing up in the same small town with the same 150 kids from preschool to high school graduation means we've been in each other's lives from the start. Our love story started in middle school. As any tween couple would we thought it was forever and apparently we weren't wrong, but there were many hills and valleys on our journey to where we are today. There were rec-center dances, Homecomings, football games, camping trips, proms, graduations, and so much more along the way but it was Jared's 21st birthday that sealed the deal. Jordan had just transferred to CU Boulder and decided to tag along with a mutual friend to Colorado Springs to celebrate. Lots of laughs, some tears, and too many drinks later that spark came back. We texted nonstop, made secret weekend trips, and built our foundation before sharing with our friends and family that December. We spent the next year and a half taking turns making the hour and a half trip between Boulder and Colorado Springs. After graduation Jordan moved to Colorado Springs and we created a life together with new jobs, new friends, and the sweetest pups, Cooper and Roscoe. After 5 years and a few *subtle hints* from Jordan, Jared proposed. He picked the coldest day (-17 degrees with wind chill) in December and just as we started, just us two + 4 furry paws we decided on forever. Jordan couldn't have said yes faster; to get home and out of the cold as fast as possible or because she was head over heels in love we'll never know! 😉
