Were Getting Married!

Jared and Jacklyn were first introduced by mutual friends in 2015 when Jackie was a freshman and Jared was a sophomore, both at Schalick High School. It was a surprise they hadn’t met sooner since they lived in the same small town and participated in the same activities since Jared moved to Pittsgrove in 2007. Since they we’re so young when they first met, most of their dates consisted of just hanging out at each other’s houses. It didn’t matter what they were doing though because they both just enjoyed each other company. They truly became each other’s best friend instantly, they were inseparable! Soon, they got their licenses and these dates quickly turned mostly into going to the movies and getting food. After they graduated high school, they started to travel the world together. Then in 2020 they wanted to quarantine together rather than apart so they made the decision to rent an apartment. The apartment ended up giving them so many difficulties that they got out of it as quick as they could! They moved in with Jared's mom to save money and stress while Jackie finished nursing school. After that the housing market went up like crazy and they didn't know if a house would come any time in their near future. In 2023, Jared was lucky enough to work at a house that was about to go up for sale and it was everything they were looking for. He quickly figured everything out for them to buy the home and move in just about 2 months before their beautiful baby girl Addison was born. These two who met as kids themselves got to watch each other grow and now have a child of their own together. Taking on their new roles as parents was the hardest but most rewarding thing they ever did together. They fell even more deeply in love with each other than they ever could have imaged! Finally, in January 2024 Jared took the big step and went ring shopping and bought Jackie's dream ring. Shortly after, Jackie unknowingly planned a trip to Disney World to surprise her sister for her birthday just the day before they left. Little did she know she was going to have a big surprise too! Jared knew Disney was Jackie's favorite place and therefore the perfect place to ask her to marry him. With the short notice he had to quickly come up with a plan. He had to do a lot of running around the morning of their flight to get the ring and ask for permission from Jackie's parents. On February 4th 2024, Jared got down on one knee right in front of the Magic Kingdom castle and popped the question. The world around them completely stopped! Jackie quickly said yes with tears in her eyes and Addison in her arm! It was the perfect moment to start their engagement and soon to be marriage.
