High school Spanish class will always hold a special place in our hearts!

If you know us, you know we love our weeny dog like he's our child, so it was only fitting that he used a weeny dog pinata to pop the question! We went to his sister's house for a Christmas party and were supposed to go to the speedway to see the lights afterwards (this was where he was originally going to propose). The party ran longer than expected so on a last minute whim, he decided to use the pinata in hopes of getting on one knee while I was blind folded. But that's not what happened. I hit the pinata a few times, rather hard, and decided that it wasn't fair that I got all the fun so I stopped to let someone else have a turn. Jared takes the bat and breaks the pinata open, sending chocolate liqueur and candy flying all over. I was so consumed with grabbing everything that I didn't notice he had gotten down to one knee behind me. He had to call my name a few times before he caught my attention and asked "Will you marry me?" Shocked by what was happening I stood there, frozen, for a couple seconds before answering "Uhh, YEA!"
