SJU in San Juan

This is the airport we recommend. This will be the cheapest option for most, as it is the larger of the two airports in Puerto Rico. There are all the major rental car companies represented at this airport. The security lines, when heading back home, can get long so plan for an early arrival to get through if you do not have TSA pre-check.

BQN in Aguadilla

This is the airport on the west side of the island that is quite a bit closer than SJU, about 30 min drive to the venue. We have never used this airport but we have driven to it and there are some car rental options available.

Luis Munoz Marin International Airport

We recommend renting a car. It is a fairly smooth process at SJU airport. We have not had any experience at BQN airport.

Travel Note

Airbnb or VRBO

There are a lot of short term rentals around the area of the venue. This may be the best option for small and large groups as there are limited hotel and resort options close to the venue.

Royal Isabela

This is the resort where the wedding and reception will be held. It has 20 small casitas available. We will have a small number of these available for the room block. It is a 2 night minimum and you can contact us directly for discount pricing and booking information. Do not try and book through the resort's website.

Villa Montana Beach Resort

This is a very nice resort that we have stayed at. It is very close to the venue and has a very good restaurant on the property as well as easy access to a beach.

Hotel El Guajataca

This hotel is less than a 10 min drive from the venue. They also host quite a few weddings so there may be limited availability on our weekend if that is true.

Courtyard Aguadilla

This hotel is about a 30 minute drive from the venue but has a casino, a kids pool area and a Denny's restaurant. It is close to a few beaches as well as a good bakery.
