Our love story began over 9 years in Guatemala. We were both living in the small colonial town of Antigua working at different schools. The expat community in Antigua is small, so it didn't take long for us to cross paths, but the night it all began was at a bbq at Jared's house. Courtney wore a red sweater with brown elbow pads sewed on and Jared couldn't resist them! We struck up a conversation about how much we love sweaters with elbow pads and the rest is history!

We were walking around a beautiful plantation in Charleston, South Carolina before our dinner reservation. We walked through a small path covered by the canopy of trees and came out on the other side to find a wooden box on a bench. Inside was a beautiful note and pictures. Jared got down on his knee and Courtney cried and cried and cried, happy tears! It was perfect. We can't wait to celebrate with you! xx

Our family has grown by one sweet baby girl since postponing our wedding. We are thrilled that Rosie will get to meet all of the people we love so much!
