It's finally happening!

We met as classmates at Utah State University, in a class I did not need. I sat in the front row, Jared sat in the back, he was always late and I never turned around. It wasn't until the end of the semester when Jared gave a presentation and swears I smiled at him, I have no recollection of this, but this simple smile began it all.

We decided to head up the mountain to "search" for any cows that happen to be left up on the mountain after round up, little did I know what the real plan was. A little side note about Jared, he does not always believe in riding on an actual trail and at one point we were hiking with the horses up the side of the mountain, there was no way I would have ever thought this was the day he would propose. Then, just then, we get to the top of this mountain, the view is beautiful, Jared starts rustling around in his pocket. This was it! He was going to propose here! No. He continued on like nothing happened! The butterflies I had just died. This was not it. We continued on the search for cows, it wasn't until we reached a grove of trees after a rather tough hill that Jared looks at my cinch and says I should probably tighten it, we both get down and he tighten his cinch so much it caught his horse off guard. After tightening mine I turned around and he was on one knee, getting a little emotional about the big question he was about to ask. Of course I teared up too! I obviously said YES, but not after asking if he was really really sure. Ever since then we've been waiting for the big day to finally come, and of course we did actually round up some cows, thats what we went up there to do after all, right?
