FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we've listed here, please feel free to reach out to us!
Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

If using apple maps, GPS will take you to the venue owner's house which is the driveway before the venue entrance. Keep going past the house, it is the first entrance on the right, directly after their home. There is a sign listing the venue name "Weathered Wisdom Barn." If using google maps, GPS will try take you to someone's driveway after the venue entrance, so please be on the lookout and turn in only at that entrance with the sign. We will have some balloons/decor of some sort set out to help guests find the venue! :)

Question

What is the RSVP deadline and where do I RSVP?

Answer

All guests have to RSVP by August 30th. You can RSVP on our website, or you can send a text with your name/name of everyone in your party and the invite status to 417-693-1334.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that guests wear semi-formal/dressy casual attire. For the men, suits or dressy pants/jeans with a nice button up are recommended. For women, dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy pants with a nice shirt are recommended. We want all guests to be comfortable throughout the night!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Yes, all children are welcomed! We want to see little ones!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes! We have already accounted for plus ones in the guest list, but please let us know if anything changes. If you RSVP online and do not see an option to include a plus one, when planning to bring one, please reach out and let us know if we are missing someone.

Question

Can pictures be taken during the ceremony?

Answer

Our goal is to have a completely unplugged ceremony. We invite you to be fully present with us while we say our 'I dos.' We have also hired a photographer to capture the moment, and we don't want any phones in the way of photos as well. All pictures will be shared with guests and phones are welcome any time after ceremony. Please NO FLASH for any photos. We do have a guest with epilepsy who is sensitive to flashing lights. Thank you!
