Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

The wedding and reception will both be held at The Historic Wakefield Barn in Wake Forest, NC. 12617 Old Falls of Neuse Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding will begin promptly at 3:30pm. So please arrive by 3:10 to give yourself time to grab a welcome beverage and find your seat!

Is this a child friendly wedding?

Answer

We love your kiddos! However, we've decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We're so excited to celebrate with you and hope you enjoy a parents' night out!

What is the attire?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! So, we are requesting that all of our guests dress in formal attire. Floor-length, knee-length, or midi formal dresses as well as suits and ties. No jeans please!

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking arena located at the venue. However, it requires a short uphill walk to the main building with some slightly uneven terrain. Should you require, there is handicap parking available. You can also leave your car at the venue overnight should you choose to take our shuttle back to the hotel at the end of the evening! Contact us for more details as needed!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We ask that you provide your own transportation to the venue, however, we plan to have transportation scheduled to drop off guests at the hotel after the reception has concluded. Should you choose to drive rather than uber/lyft, there is a parking arena onsite (see above). You can also leave your car at the venue overnight should you choose to take our shuttle back to the hotel at the end of the evening!

Will there be a bar?

Beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages are on us!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both indoors, however there is some rocky terrain from the parking arena/guest drop off to the venue. Please take this into account when choosing your shoes!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we will share these photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

All my lovely bridesmaids will be in black satin!
