Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding will be held on Thursday, June 18th, 2026 and the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. We kindly ask all guests to arrive by 4:30 PM to allow plenty of time to settle in and find your seat. This will help ensure that everything runs smoothly and we can start the celebration right on time! Thank you for your punctuality—we can’t wait to see you there!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The RSVP deadline was May 10, 2026. In order to finalize seating, catering and event details, only guests who submitted an RSVP by the deadline will be able to attend. Thank you for understanding and helping us make our day seamless and special.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For our special day, we ask that guests arrive in their finest all-black formal attire. Think elegant black gowns, sharp black suits, and sophisticated accessories. We want to create a timeless, glamorous atmosphere, and your impeccable style will help set the perfect tone for the evening. We can’t wait to see you looking your absolute best and celebrating this unforgettable day with us!

Question

Why is the wedding on Thursday?

Answer

From the beginning of our planning, it was important to us that our wedding be an intentional and memorable experience—not just a single day, but a meaningful celebration of love, family, and legacy. Choosing a Thursday allows us to create space for a full weekend of connection and joy with the people who matter most. Additionally, the day following our wedding is Juneteenth, a recognized federal holiday in Connecticut. This meaningful coincidence allows many of our guests the opportunity to travel without time constraints and to extend their stay as part of a long weekend. It is a beautiful alignment with the values we hold dear: love, freedom, and community. We are truly grateful to celebrate this milestone with those closest to us and appreciate your presence during this special time.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’ve carefully curated our guest list, and as much as we would love to invite everyone’s friends and loved ones, we’re unable to accommodate additional plus ones beyond those listed on your formal invitation. We hope you understand, and we’re so grateful to have you celebrate this special day with us! Thank you for your understanding and support. We can't wait to see you there!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. This will allow everyone to relax, have fun, and fully enjoy the evening! We appreciate your understanding and hope you can join us for a night of celebration and love. Thank you so much for making arrangements, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
