Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes, we will have shuttles to and from the wedding venue! To the venue (pick-up at Residence Inn) - 3:05, 3:25, and 3:40. From the venue (drop-off at both hotels) - 8:30, then 10:30 on until everyone is back. If you don't take the shuttles to the venue, but want a ride back to the hotels, you could take them back at the end of the night and then pick up your car by 11 am the next morning

Are kids welcome?

As much as we adore your little ones, this will be an adults-only event. We hope you’ll enjoy the chance to kick back, raise a glass, and celebrate with us — no juice boxes required!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’ve given thoughtful consideration to our guest list and are keeping it intentionally limited. We kindly ask that guests only bring a plus one if one was specifically included in your invitation. If a plus one was specifically included in your invitation, you're golden. If not, we truly hope you’ll still join us solo — you’ll be in great company! Thank you for respecting our wishes!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block at The Residence Inn Rochester Mayo Clinic Area South and The Home2 Suites by Hilton Rochester Mayo Clinic Area. Another option would be to book an Airbnb. With either option, please BOOK EARLY. We've gotten word that this weekend will be very busy with limited rooms available due to a big tournament happening in Rochester. There will be a link to booking options under the 'Travel' tab on this website. The cutoff for the discounted hotel block prices will be December 3rd and bookings have free cancellation and are fully refundable up until 24 hours prior to arrival.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please be seated at 3:45 pm in The Loft of the Mayowood Stone Barn so we can start the ceremony promptly at 4 pm. We will have ushers present to direct you to the ceremony space. Thank you for being considerate of our timeline!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love for our guests to dress up a bit to match the occasion. So come and show off your semi-formal attire (cocktail dresses, dressy skirts or jumpsuits, and suits or dress shirts with slacks). Please, no jeans, flannels, or overly casual attire — save those for the after-party!
