We will be getting married at Villa La Joya! Villa La Joya is a private residence situated just north of Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
Don't forget your passport! Please double check to ensure your passport does not expire before October 2026. Many countries require at least six months of passport validity remaining to enter. While Mexico does not follow the 6-month validity rule, we highly recommend this for an easy, smooth entry! It can take up to 3 months for your passport to arrive so please update or apply ASAP.
Due to limited capacity at the venue, we are only able to accommodate those guest formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. If you wish to bring a significant other/plus one who is NOT listed on your invitation, you are welcome to bring them to Mexico and to stay at the resort. However, due to limited space, they will NOT be able to attend the wedding. Thank you for understanding!
We would love if all of our guests stayed with us at Breathless Riviera or Secrets Riviera. It will be a great opportunity for everyone to meet other guests and enjoy their vacation. We are providing exclusive transportation from the resorts to the venue. Additionally, we are hosting a welcome party for our guests at the resort on Thursday, May 14th. Information about the resorts are underneath the "Travel" tab above.
We highly recommend you fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN). There are many transfer services and taxis that you can get from the airport to Breathless and Secrets. We recommend you pre-book a shared or private transfer rather than looking for a taxi upon arrival. If you booked your stay through our travel agent, Diana, she has transportation options for you there. Some reliable companies also include CARM, USA Transfers, and Kalido. There are many options, just make sure to check the reviews!
We love and adore your little ones, however, the resorts are ages 18+ and we have decided to keep our wedding weekend an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this weekend as a relaxing, child-free getaway. We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us!
When you receive our formal invitation, please return to this website and click on the RSVP tab, which will be located above.
If you do not RSVP by the date that will be on your formal invitation, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love celebrating with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP's.
You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Will NOT Attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending", but find that you will not make it, please notify Alexis as soon as you are aware.

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, which means no photos! We ask all guests to follow this and be completely present during our special time. Our hired professionals will be doing the photo taking during that time. Feel free to take all the photos you like after the ceremony is complete!
