Yosemite Falls is one of the tallest waterfalls in the world. It peaks in the month of may, and is across the street from our reception. It's a short walk and you wont even have to get in your car.
You will pass through Tunnel View on your way to the reception. It's always an amazing sight. If you have the time. It's extra nice at sunset. But be prepared. because it's so easy to access, it's always busy.
You see this waterfall from Tunnel View. and will pass the turn out for Bridalveil Falls on the way to the reception. It's a short walk to the base of falls and has been recently renovated.
A 2-mile round trip walk. Mirror lake is a seasonal lake that is created by snow melt. It sits at the base of Half Dome.
Taft Point is a 2.2 mile round trip walk and is located off Glacier Point Road. It's a popular hike that takes you out to the edge of cliffs that over look the Yosemite Valley.
A bit more out of the way. This is 2.5 Mile round trip has a 500ft of elevation change and brings you into a grove of Giant Sequoias. Once in the grove. There is a self guided half mile trail that takes you alongside, underneath and even through over two dozen Giant Sequoia trees.
