Our story is truly a testimony of the goodness, mercy, and redemption of God. Before we ever met, both of us walked through seasons where we were not fully serving the Lord with our hearts. We each experienced heartache, brokenness, and difficult journeys, but God, in His mercy, radically encountered both of us and transformed our lives. Through His grace, we surrendered our hearts to Jesus and began pursuing Him wholeheartedly. As we each continued serving in ministry and seeking after God, our paths crossed. What began as friendship through serving the Lord slowly grew into something deeper. As feelings began to grow between us, Jared made the decision to pursue Abby intentionally, prayerfully, and in a way that honored God. From the very beginning, we both desired for our relationship to be built on Christ and to do things God’s way. Throughout our journey together, God has continually confirmed His hand upon our relationship. He has spoken through prayer, through His Word, and even through dreams that others have shared with us about the calling and purpose over our lives together. More than anything, we know our relationship is not simply about our love for one another — it is about God’s love, His plans, and His glory. Jesus is the center of our relationship and the foundation of our future marriage. We believe God brought us together for a greater purpose: to reflect the Gospel and to be used by Him however He desires. Every step of our relationship has been marked by His faithfulness. He has provided for us, cared for us, strengthened us, and shown Himself strong in our lives time and time again. The fact that we are both serving Jesus today is a miracle in itself, and we never want to lose sight of that. Our relationship is built on surrender — daily choosing to lay our lives before the Lord and trust Him completely. As we step into marriage, we do so with expectation and faith, believing that the God who has already done so much will continue to do even greater things through our lives together. Our prayer is simple: that our marriage would glorify God in every season and point others to Jesus. Because at the end of the day, Jesus is everything.
