We've always said there's two Pittsburgh men that have influenced Jared the most. Mr. Rogers and Andy Warhol. Going to this museum may bring you closer to what goes on in his mind... or further away. Some nudity is in this museum if you're thinking of taking the kids.
Nationality Rooms at the Cathedral of Learning
Free for all. A beautiful learning center where each room is based on a different country. Might be boring for kiddos. Lots of stairs, some elevators.
The Incline
Not expensive, fun for kids, AMAZING view of the city from the top.

Dive bar across the street from the hotel. $2.50 breakfast sandwiches.
Gandy Dancer Saloon
Higher end bar. Walkable from the hotel for most guests.
Grand Concourse
Higher end restaurant. Walkable from the hotel for most guests.
Strip District
Heavily recommended. Close by. A cross between Hell's kitchen and New Orleans. Must sees in this area are Wholey's(fish market), Primanti Bros.(famous Pittsburgh sandwiches), S&D Polish Deli, Labad's Mediterranean Grocery, Pennsylvania Macaroni Company(excellent Italian cheese).

A really great restaurant to try NEAR THE AIRPORT! If you've just landed, are renting a car, and are HUNGRY we recommend this!
