We met on bumble! But not your typical way. Neither of us actually “chose” one another. Shauna’s friend was playing on her phone and choosing guys she thought would be good for her, while Jared’s sister and her friend were doing the same thing for him. Jared and Shauna continued the conversation with each other and decided to meet. Jared asked “choose a restaurant that you’ve never been to but have always wanted to go to.” We went out to an Italian dinner and had a great time. The next day Jared found out Shauna had never had ramen before. He said “do we dare go on a second date the day after our first?” We did. And we’ve been together ever since!

We flew to Tennessee for vacation with Jared’s sister and brother in law. When we arrived, we drove to Centennial Park to check out the Parthenon, and of course Taylor Swift’s bench. We went to take a picture on the bench and Jared said “one cute and one funny picture”. We took our cute picture and then he reached into his pocket and got down on his knee and asked Shauna to marry him! We can’t wait for you to celebrate our wedding with us in September!
