Let's go back in time to 2012....when Jared and I first met. I was working as a ICU nurse and Jared was a resident. Jared and I barely knew one another, and only came in contact a handful of times. Now fast forward a year and a half and add in a dashing doctor in a turban; aka Jasvinder. One night after a terrible day at work while walking out to the parking lot with Jasvinder and some of his "co residents" we were chit chatting. And as I went to say goodbye to the cute young doctor Josh, Josh told me his name wasn't actually Josh but Jared. I had been calling Jared Josh the whole time. Damn, I was calling this poor resident the wrong name the whole time. And the worst part he was too nice to correct me. I guess I really was intense then. Now skip forward a couple months of me finally knowing Jared's real name. By now he was a PGY III and I had started to figure out who the good residents were and who I should be friendly with so I could get what I wanted aka keep the patient alive at night. Which led to one happening night where a Rapid Response was called on the floor. Well stuffed in this tiny room was myself, Jared, Jasvinder and some other cardiology fellow ( poor guy I can't remember his name hahahaha). Anywhoo as we all know I can be a bit bossy, so i sorta ( more than sorta) was running the code. Afterward this creepy resident Jared, as he's wheeling the patient emergently to cath lab goes " Hey, you know you ran that code. That was hot." WTH?? Did he just flirt with me at a code? Love over a PE. And so began our relationship............. *Sorry for all the non medical people. Just envision Grey's Anatomy. **Grey's Anatomy is not real medicine. Excellent TV tho.
