Question

I received a save-the-date, but didn't receive an invitation. Was the guest list cut?

Answer

Due to COVID-19, we've had to make the heartbreaking decision to reduce the number of guests for our special day. We will reach out personally to any guest impacted by the change and we want to ensure you that the decision to pare down the guest list was made after great deliberation and many sleepless nights. While you cannot be with us in person, we ask that you offer a prayer and blessings for a lifetime of love, health and happiness.

Question

Due to the venue change, will transportation be provided to and from Champaign?

Answer

Yes. We are trying to coordinate a shuttle from the Hyatt Place Champaign to the wedding and reception venue in Penfield, IL. Travel times will be finalized closer to date. If you are interested in riding the shuttle, please email Wendy Bertram at wendy.bertram@gmail.com or text to 217-871-9992 as soon as possible.

Is there a hotel option closer to the wedding and reception venue?

Answer

Yes. The Holiday Inn Express located in Rantoul, IL is approximately 15 minutes from the wedding and reception venue. Prices are similar to the hotels in Champaign.

Since the wedding has been moved to a private residence, will there be enough parking?

Answer

Yes. There will be ample parking.

What should I do if I'm not feeling well on the wedding day and cannot attend.

Answer

The health and wellness of our family and friends is very important to us, so we ask that you take the necessary precautions of COVID-19 testing or quarantine if you are not feeling well in the days leading up to the big day.
