We chose New Jersey as our wedding destination because it's the perfect central location for our loved ones. With family and friends spanning Maryland, New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, this location ensures everyone can join us in celebrating our big day! Check out Our Story section on the home page for the full story.
Our wedding venue is easily accessible from the New York area. You may take a train into Newark Penn Station, or fly into any New York area airport (EWR being the closest) and rent a car from there. However, most of our guests live within a 3-4 hour drive of our venue and can easily drive themselves! Please note that in New Jersey, you are not allowed to pump your own gas. See our Travel page for more information. We've reserved a room block at the Crowne-Plaza hotel both Friday and Saturday night, so you can choose which night you'd like to arrive! On the day of the wedding, we've arranged shuttle transportation to take guests to the ceremony. Valet will also be available at the venue.
Yes! We've secured a room block at the Crowne Plaza Suffern-Mawah, only a 20-minute drive from our wedding venue. Special rate is $169/night. We've reserved both Friday night and Saturday night for whenever you choose to arrive! To take advantage of the room block, book your room by September 4th using the link on our Travel page or call (845) 357-4800 and mention the "Wilson Roberts Wedding" group rate. Complimentary shuttle to the wedding will be provided from this hotel. See Travel page for more information.
Dress Code: Black Tie Optional We invite you to dress in either black tie or formal attire. Gentlemen may wear either a classic tuxedo or a formal suit with a tie. Ladies are encouraged to wear an elegant long gown in either ankle or floor length. Black tie attire doesn't require wearing the color black—we encourage our guests to wear colors!
Our wedding color palette is deep green, olive green, antique ivory, dark peach, and dusty blue to complement a late summer/early-fall wedding! The venue is an historic castle estate so the event aesthetically gives a romantic, European, old-world feel! The bridesmaids will be wearing floor length olive green dresses and the groomsmen will be wearing light gray tuxedos with a regular tie.
To RSVP, please visit the dedicated RSVP page on our website—this will be available when you receive your invitation in June. In your RSVP, you can indicate your food allergies and reserve your spot on the shuttle. Please note that you won't pre-select your meal during the RSVP process; instead, you'll order directly from your server at the dinner reception.
Yes, of course! With the bride being gluten-free herself, we are more than happy to accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please let us know in your RSVP what your restrictions are so we can ensure you're accommodated!
While we adore your children, we've decided to celebrate this day as an adults-only event. We hope you understand, and we look forward to enjoying the evening with you!
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so you can be fully present and our photographers and videographers can capture the moment.
