We are high school sweethearts who spent over a decade apart. When we came into each other’s lives again we both just really needed a friend. With Josh in Washington and me in California, we talked when we could. In time our friendship helped us realize that the universe brought us together for a reason. It wasn't hard to fall in love with each other, we had grown through life experiences into the people that each other needed in a partner. With 1000 miles between us it was a lot of us wishing and dreaming of what a future could be. Josh finally received the news of a transfer from work. Our life together unraveled pretty quickly after that. We have been hanging on to this wild ride. We are so blessed to see all the daydreams and wishes coming to fruition. First came love, then came a baby. We got engaged and within one month we were married. We eloped in Sedona, Arizona when I was five months pregnant on May 29, 2022. We are one big happy blended family. It is important to us to still have a wedding for our children and family to be able to celebrate our love story and the joining of all families.
