It’s crazy to even think that I’m getting married, to the guy I used too talk to back in 2017! Here is our story. In August of 2021, I had recently came back from California, first thing I do is message my best friend Alyssa, as I message her I told her “Hey girl, I’m back from California we should hangout?” she replies “Hey!! Omg you’re back, I am so down” I had this big smile on my face knowing I was home and I was able to hangout with my friends again I message her back saying “ okay, be ready I’ll be there in 10” as I’m getting ready to pick her up I’m messaging her back saying that I was right outside her door so I ask her “hey we should go visit your sister and see what she’s doing” and if most of you know alyssa, she’s always down for anything lol so she says “okay!” so we are driving over to her sisters house and as soon as I turn the corner getting to her sisters house, I see this guy who looked very familiar someone I used to talk too, as I am approaching her sisters house I told alyssa “ bitchhhh, I know that guy!” And she’s like “Who?” I said, “the guy that’s standing there with your brother in law” and as soon as I said that I also tell her “ I gotta go home, my mom is calling me” ( when she really wasn’t lol) I was making so many excuses on not getting off the car because that guy (John) we used to talk back in 2017, I was nervous, shy, my heart was beating so quick… alyssa she tells me “c’mon, you wanted to come” so I get off the car veryyyy slowly.. and it was so awkward seeing him in person, knowing what me and him had back then, so we walk over and I didn’t even say hi to him I was that nervous lol so as the time passed, I eventually had to go home and John messaged me on Snapchat saying “Sorry for making things awkward lol” I told him “ haha, it’s okay” and we ended up meeting that night and ever since then we’ve been together! 💙
