Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accomodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear on your invite as well as when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding.

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However due to limited space, we have decided to keep our wedding weekend an adults only event with exception of immediate family. We hope you take this as an opportunity to relax and enjoy yourself!

Will there be a meal option for guests with dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes, please communicate any allergies or restrictions in your RSVP. On the wedding day, there will be a separate entree for guests who respond with dietary restrictions.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar for all to enjoy. If you're pregnant, breastfeeding or don't want alcohol, please reach out to let us know so we can update your drink package.

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all be held outdoors. Ladies can wear any type of shoe, given there will always be concrete ground to walk on!

What will the weather be like in April?

Answer

Cabo in April typically brings warm, dry, sunny weather - perfect for an outdoor celebration! You can expect temperatures ranging from 75°F to 85°F during the day, cooling off slightly in the evening with a gentle breeze. If you get cold easily, you may want to bring a shawl or light jacket for comfort.

Do I need a special plug for the outlets?

Answer

Nope :) They use the same plugs as the U.S.

Are there Uber's in Mexico?

Answer

Yes. Uber is readily available in Mexico and typically arrive fast (within 2 minutes). Ubers are not permitted by local law to pick up arriving passengers from the airport however Ubers are allowed to take you to the airport for departures.

Is the water safe to drink in Cabo?

Answer

The hotels do not recommend drinking water from the sink for safety. Both the Cape and Bahia hotels offer daily complimentary water bottles and you can ask for extra. All restaurants serve bottled still and sparkling water.

Can I use U.S. Dollars?

Answer

Although the Mexican Peso is the official currency, it's not mandatory to have Pesos. In fact many vendors love the U.S. dollar. The exchange rate is approximately 20 Pesos : 1 USD.

Can I visit The Cape Hotel before the wedding if I’m not staying there?

Answer

Wedding Day: Guests who are not staying at The Cape are welcome to arrive up to one hour prior to the ceremony start time. Pre-Wedding Visits: If you’d like to spend time at the hotel before the wedding day, you can gain access by making a reservation at one of the property’s restaurants or bars: Manta (fine dining), The Ledge (casual dining), or The Rooftop (a bar with ocean views, drinks, and appetizers). Pool Access: Please note that access to The Cape’s pool is exclusively for hotel guests.
