Our first date was a blind date! Jordan came to my house like the gentleman he is to pick me up. It truly was as if we had known each other for forever! We drove to Mesilla and couldn't stop talking as we walked around to all the shops. It was a day date (just in case it didn't go well) but it was going so well we ended up going to dinner, then for a walk, then because neither of us wanted to go home we ended up getting ice cream and sitting at a park talking and laughing for a few more hours. I knew so intensely that night that this was the man I was destined to marry. It wasn't until a few months later that Jordan admitted that he had also known that day that I would be his wife. We never really knew that fate could work like that, and we are so happy that we took a chance on that blind date as God always had us destined for each other.

Jordan and I went to go see my family for fall break. We went to Andeles' for dinner, and I knew he was acting weird but I didn't know why. We ended up back at the park we had gone to on our first date and he asked me if we could walk around. After a little while of walking, he stopped me and turned me around and as I looked at him get down on one knee my whole world just stopped to take it all in (I couldn't figure out if I was dreaming or not in that moment). He pulled this red box out of his pocket, opened it and said "Jaqueline, you are the love of my life. Will you marry me?" I quickly said "YES" and went to hug and kiss him. The moment that I dreamed of as a little girl had come true. I get to marry the man of my dreams!
