Otherwise, there are plenty of hotels and airbnbs in the area. If you are planning on spending a day in downtown Chicago, we recommend booking a hotel close to a metra station. We’re hoping to create a relaxing evening for guests to celebrate and enjoy together. Although the celebration is primarily adults-focused, we completely understand that travel may require some families to bring their children, and they are absolutely welcome! Late September in Illinois is typically mild during the day (around 65–75°F) and cooler in the evening (around 50–60°F), so we recommend dressing accordingly and bringing a light jacket.
