Our story of how we met is not one of chance encounter, an unexpected acquaintance, or heroic act like from some of our favorite romance movies, but rather like most relationships nowadays begin; with a swipe right on a dating app. I thought it would be a typical first date, casual dinner and drinks, small talk, and awkward pauses of conversation. But this date went like no other date has. Jared had a surprise in store for me; games. I have dealt with all kinds of “works of charm” before, but none ever charmed me like Jared. We laughed, played “two truths and a lie” and made it the easiest first date ever. It was fun, and the ice had been broken. We spent a lot of time together after that; although for a while I thought I had been placed in the friend zone; there’s always a first time for everything. But Jared was just being cautious, played his cards right, and treated me like a princess. Finally, I had finally met a gentleman. After spending some months together, we parted ways for a while; amicably of course. What is it they say? Distance makes the heart grow fonder? That’s exactly what happened which led Jared courting me at my front door out of the blue; something you would see right out of a movie, minus the pouring rain. Jared changed his life for me; and I am forever grateful. From then on, we never parted, barely argued, and always came together as a united front. Of course, I am and will forever be the CEO of team Jariza. Between our epic date nights, dancing until 1 AM with our friends, and our first dinner party in our first apartment, we are unstoppable. But this is just the beginning of our journey together; a big step towards our fairytale ever after.

Jared and I love Disney World and since he thinks I'm a princess, he decided that there wasn't a more perfect place to propose. We were walking around Epcot and when we reached the French Pavilion, Jared got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him! And that is how we became #jappilyeverafter! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in sunny Florida!
