Jan Wyndell was born in 1994, and Laarne in 1995. Their story quietly began in 2007, when Laarne transferred to Jan’s school. They barely talked, but somehow, there was a spark—one that led to a so-called “breakup” that kept them apart for eight long years. Then, on April 30, 2020 just a day before Laarne’s birthday, Jan reached out with a simple message. That one message changed everything. A year later, on December 24, 2021, they went on their very first official date as a couple—just in time for Christmas. Fast forward four years filled with love, laughter, and growing together, Jan got down on one knee in the beautiful island of El Nido, Palawan, and asked Laarne to be his forever. She said “Yes!” Now, their story continues as they get ready to say “I do” on March 12, 2026, at the Chapel of San Pedro Calungsod in SRP, Cebu City—ready to start their forever together.
