When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The opportunity to RSVP online will be made available once invitations are sent in July Please RSVP by September 1st, so we have an accurate headcount and can give the venue your dinner selections

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "(your name) and Guest" you're welcome to bring a date. Text Jani/Matt if you have any questions on this one.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your kids, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

New Hope in October should be gorgeous! We'll update this section as the date gets closer, but we're hoping for sunny weather in the 60s or low 70s. The ceremony will be taking place outside on the lawn along the canal (weather permitting), so dress accordingly - a light jacket may be needed.

Where should I park and shuttle services?

Answer

Driving to & from River House at Odette's: The River House at Odette's hotel provides a complimentary shuttle bus for your convenience. We recommend parking at the River House Shuttle Lot, located at 385 W Bridge St, New Hope, PA 18938. The shuttle service will begin 2 hours prior to the celebration start time, so we suggest arriving at the lot at least 1 hour prior. Please note that direct hotel parking is unavailable. The return shuttle service will operate from the River House Shuttle Lot until 2 hours after the celebration ends. We request that you get to the shuttle parking lot no later than 3:30 or 4 p.m. for prompt pick-up and timely attendance of the ceremony. For guests staying at the New Hope Inn: For our friends and family staying at the New Hope Inn, River House shuttle bus service will also pick up at New Hope Inn. The shuttle service will begin 2 hours prior to the celebration start time, so we suggest guests are ready for pick-up by shuttle pick-up by 3:30 PM and 4 PM. Again, please note that direct hotel parking is unavailable. The return shuttle service will operate from the River House Shuttle Lot until 2 hours after the celebration ends.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the building is fully ADA compliant.

What should I wear?

Answer

The Saturday night welcome drinks will be dressy casual (come as you like!) Our wedding will be formal or cocktail attire. Feel free to get as fancy as you'd like, but it won't be a black tie event.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our cocktail hour & reception will be inside in the hotel with access the hotel balcony

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Answer

All shoes are welcome...just wear something you can dance in all night :)

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like - though we will have professional photographers there, so you can also fully focus on watching rather than worrying about capturing the moment. Please note, Jani and Matt would like to enjoy the cocktail hour rather than posing for too many pictures. Let's do that when we get to the reception We ask that you hold off posting photos to social media till after the wedding
