Jamil and Nusrat had their small religious marriage ceremony, the Nikkah, back in January of 2020, with hopes to celebrate on a larger scale with their friends and family soon after. COVID-19 changed the world as we know it, and in order to keep their loved ones safe, they postponed their celebrations until vaccines were readily available (and until Nusrat finished medical school, lol). Thank you for patiently joining us in our journey and we hope that we may be able to share our love with you soon, insha'Allah (God willing).
