Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

To allow everyone to be seated prior to the ceremony, please find a seat before 3PM. We recommend arriving at 2:45 in order to get settled.

How much travel is expected?

Answer

The Madison (7310 Lamar Ave S, Cottage Grove MN, 55016) is approximately 15-20 minutes away from the church where the ceremony is held. Our reception is about 10 minutes away from the hotel block listed in our "Travel" Tab. It may be wise to schedule any rideshare service ahead of time.

What are the ceremony & reception sites like?

Answer

We will be in a Catholic Church for the ceremony, so please dress for indoor weather. The reception venue (The Madison) is indoors and climate controlled, but cocktail hour will be outside primarily, dependent on weather.

Can I park overnight at the venue?

Answer

Yes! You can park overnight at the venue, but cars must be removed no later than 9AM the following day.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, you will need to arrange for transportation to the ceremony and the venue. There is overnight parking at the venue if needed.
