We met the summer before Jannyda left for college in July, and from the very beginning, there were instant sparks. After meeting on the 12th, Gus asked Jannyda to be his girlfriend just five days later on the 17th. From there, our journey took off. That August, we took our first adventure together to San Francisco, and it was only the beginning. Over the years, we balanced building our futures, earning our degrees, while also making time to explore the world side by side. From sunny days in Florida and magical moments at Disney World, to standing in awe at the Grand Canyon and visiting the Four Corners, we’ve explored so much of the U.S. together. We’ve sipped wine in Napa Valley, taken in the mountain views of Colorado, and experienced the energy and skyline of Chicago. Each place adding a new chapter to our story. Beyond the U.S., we’ve watched sunsets along the beaches of Cabo, wandered the charming canals and cobblestone streets of Amsterdam, immersed ourselves in the vibrant culture and unforgettable cuisine of Japan, and embraced the beauty, warmth, and adventure of Mexico. Each destination has brought us closer, filling our journey with memories we’ll cherish forever. After nearly 10 incredible years together, we’ll be saying “I do” on our 10th anniversary! Marking not just a milestone, but the beginning of an even greater chapter. Our story is only getting better from here!
