Our wedding is at a beautiful place called Living Stone. It is located at 115 Foxfire Road, Round Top, NY 12473. Round top is the valley of the Catskill Mountains and you have probably gone to points of interest and towns near the venue. Round Top, NY is: - 3 hours northwest of Long Island - 2 hours southeast of Utica - 2 hours north of New York City - 30 mins northeast of Kaaterskill Falls - 20 mins east of Windham - 20 mins north of Saugerties
On the travel page, we have provided recommended places we visited in the area and the venue owner recommends. There are many inns, resorts, and airbnbs in the area for everyone. We have folks staying at: - Winter Clove Inn (fully booked) - The Bavarian Manor Hotel (rooms available). - Shinglekill Falls (3 rooms available under Alison and Mark) - Airbnbs / Vrbos - On-site camping If you need help choosing a place, let Alison know. Some inns book up fast so call or book as early as possible!
Driving is your best option. When you arrive, there is a drop-off at the top of the pavilion and plenty of parking. To get you home safely, we have arranged a bus to bring our guests back to their accommodations. The bus is scheduled to leave at 10:30 PM (reception ends) and 12:30 AM (after party ends). It is currently going to: 1. Winter Clove Inn 2. The Bavarian Manor Hotel 3. Gesseck Airbnb in Round Top 4. Morgan Airbnb in Cairo 5. Ehl Airbnb in Round Top We can add more stops along the way. We will have an after party with late night smores by the fire pits. If you want to hang after the reception is done, you have the opportunity to get cozy and wind down!
Dress in cocktail or long dresses, sports jackets or suits. Please wear appropriate, comfortable footwear as the entire event is outdoors. There are gravel, rocky, grassy and mossy paths that are uneven. There are over 30 acres of walking trails around the property that you are able to explore. No stilettos on the “mossy path”.
Yes! We are hosting a farewell Sunday brunch for anyone who wants to say goodbye to the newlyweds, family and friends before traveling home.
Yes, the property is fully accessible for the ceremony, cocktail and reception areas. For those that need an extra lift, the venue provides golf cart service to get around the property.
