The dress code for our wedding is black tie. We politely ask that men wear tuxedos and women to wear floor length gown. Think of the Crawleys in Downton Abbey. Let's play dress up for a night!
It's hard to predict the weather, but historical average is high of 60's and low of mid 40's with a probability of rain of about 50/50. It's the UK after all.
The ceremony will take place in the castle's dining room and the wedding breakfast (reception) will be in Henry VIII's banquet hall.
We both don't do well outdoors, so both ceremony and reception will be held indoors.
After the ceremony, we have booked a tour of the castle for the guests. Cocktail hour will follow the tour where guests can hangout in the castle library or inner hall where drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
TBD
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “No,” so we can plan accordingly.
If you're staying in the castle grounds, simply walk over to the castle! If you're coming from Heathrow Airport and renting a car, take the M25 towards Kent and take Exit 8 (63 miles).
