Beach to Bar casual
For those in town, we'd love you to join us for sunset on the beach in front of the Bungalow (bring towels, BYOB but hide your drinks in plastic bottles:) and any snacks) and then dinner at Bungalow (walking distance from the beach). Please note the dinner will be a pay your own way (~$50) as a set menu because of our group size. We'd love you to join and get everyone together to kick off the week AND NEED YOU TO RSVP!

Welcome BBQ and Field Day

We'll kick off the week with a real competitive field day - get ready! Dress to impress in your team colors and make sure to bring one piece of flair in your color in addition to your outfit (a flower crown, scarf, random hat etc.). We'll finish the evening with a talent show so think about something you'd like to share with us! We'll be fitting a proper South African Braai (aka a BBQ) in somewhere during the evening. All fun and games will be at Riverhouse.

Today will include the wedding ceremony, dinner and afterparty all at the same location. We recommend that those not in the wedding party go explore around Cape Town before the wedding ceremony!

Mountain + Winery Getaway (Wed-Fri)

Since everyone is traveling a long way, we're keeping the party going after Cape Town and spending two nights in Franschhoek, the best town in the wine region (about 2 hours from Cape Town). Wednesday will be mostly self-driven: you can explore the wine region (we'll provide recommendations) and reconvene with the group in the late afternoon for group discussions and yoga with Janine's mom. Dinner Wednesday will also be choose your own adventure. On Thursday, we'll do group wine tastings and a dinner + drum circle back at La Cotte to end the organized portion of the wedding week. On Friday, we'll have morning yoga and depart. Those leaving South Africa will head to Cape Town, while those continuing on with the safari will hop in a group shuttle to Botlierskop!

Wine Tasting Day

For this event, please dress in all white (https://tinyurl.com/57m8h3m5), it's time we reverse roles for the week.
We are excited to take you on a tour of a region we love. We'll visit two wineries - Boschendaal and Grand Provence. We'll start with a tasting, have an incredible picnic for lunch at Boschendaal and then stop at Grand Provence. For those that want to keep going at 4pm, we recommend a stop at Leeu Estate (walking distance from Grand Provence).

Going on safari is truly unique. We know many of you would like to do one after the wedding so we thought we'd help organize and those who would like to join us can! This event is totally optional, and will not be planned beyond J+J choosing a safari lodge destination.
