We first met in nursing school during orientation. We were sitting in the computer lab and Janina had trouble with her computer. Being a tech savvy guy, William came to the rescue! When the school year started, classes were difficult so our professors suggested that we should form a study groups. Janina and Will happened to be in the same study group ... and this sparked an idea for Will ;-) That was the beginning of a beautiful relationship!
Janina and Will were living in California for work. Will wanted to fly back home to Chicago for the weekend to spend time with family to remember his Grandma on her birthday. Janina and Will flew early in the morning and were picked up by Will's sister, Vanessa. After Will & Vanessa dropped off Janina, Will told his sister that he's going to propose to Janina. Vanessa and Will came up with an idea of how to propose while sitting out in the driveway of their house. Will told his parents that he was going to marry Janina. While Janina was out, Will went to Janina's house to ask her parents for their blessing. Later that day, Will asked Janina if she could go with him to Lincolnwood Public Library. Will approached a librarian to book a study room. After the librarian led them to the room, Janina saw the screen and it read "Janina, will you marry me?" Will got down to one knee and asked the question! Janina happily answered "'Yes!" with tears running down her face.
