You may wonder where exactly things are taking place. While the ceremony itself will be held outdoors the guest seating will be covered. The reception will be mostly indoors but there is an outdoor area where the bar will be along with other tables and seating if you’d like to sit outside at any time. Yes, we kindly ask that you dress “formal” or dress your best, meaning a nice dress for the ladies and a nice suit for the gents. Or nice pants and a dress shirt for the ladies or gents.
Yes of course! There is no age limit on helping us celebrate our wedding day!
The time listed on the invitations is what time the ceremony will start. We ask that you show up between 3:30 and 3:45 to insure we are able to start on time.
Yes, just include them in the RSVP so we know the exact number of guests to expect!
There is parking available at the venue location
We will need official guest count by September 1, 2021 You can RSVP by mail, website, or text message all of which the details for will be listed on the invitations. We kindly ask that if at any time your RSVP response changes to let us know as soon as possible out of respect so that we can assure we get the most accurate head count possible. Of course we want you to be able to come and celebrate with us but we understand if you can’t for any reason so don’t feel bad if you aren’t able to be there!
While we know most of you are making the wedding trip into a mini vacation for yourselves, the venue is located 2 hours from Gatlinburg, 1 hour from Knoxville, and about 2 hours from Nashville. There are plenty of places local to the venue to stay if you are wanting to stay close by the night of the wedding. There are also beautiful state parks around the venue to check out if you are interested!
While we don’t expect anything aside from the presence of our family and friends if you do decide you want to gift us anything we are simply asking for contributions towards our cash funds. We have been together long enough to have most everything we could possibly need. Any money given will go towards getting our own home or our honeymoon.
Yes I did mention there will be a bar, however, there will be limited alcoholic drink choices. We tried to chose things most everyone would enjoy but it just wasn’t in the budget to do a full open bar. There will be a tip jar set up as a courtesy for the bartender.
Immediately following the ceremony you will drive down from the ceremony site and over to the reception area while we are with our photographers doing pictures. The reception will start once you get to the area and will go on until 10PM. We know a lot of you would party and celebrate all night long but we have to wrap it up and give our venue time for clean up.
