Question

What precautions are you taking because of the Delta variant of Covid? I'm vaccinated by the way!

Answer

Good for you!! We want everyone to be able to celebrate without fear of unwittingly/asymptomatically transmitting Covid to someone unvaccinated -- so we're asking that everyone be fully vaccinated if you plan on attending. If you can't or won't get vaccinated, we ask you to reconsider, and understand you're putting yourself at risk by attending our gathering. For maximum safety and minimal risk of Covid transmission, our ceremony will be outdoors as will the food service (via food truck), so all our friends and family can participate in the first portion of the evening no matter their comfort or risk level. Our reception afterwards will be indoors, but our venue includes an outdoor patio and fully ventilated screened-in porches if you'd prefer to party there! Above all else, we'd just like to see you!

Question

What does "Fun & Formal" mean as a dress code? Y'all have both thrown some extravagantly specific costume parties...

Answer

Great question! We'd love everyone to dress fancier than usual, so formal attire (long dresses, dark suits, tuxes if you're so inclined) are encouraged. But seeing as we're leaning into vintage vibes and the magic of a live event, don't feel you have to be stuffy or constrained to any of the above! Let us be your excuse to break out that fabulous thing you impulse bought in quarantine but never get to wear - the red lip, the sequin, the feathers, the pocket square too loud for your day job. If you feel incredible in it, we welcome it! (But please leave white for the bride!)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 5pm so we catch the sunset together! Ceremony will commence once everyone has a drink, and before we lose the light.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids (and have always secretly thought they were cuter and smarter than other people's kids) but thought you might like a night off. If you have a newborn that's dependent on you they're absolutely welcome, but otherwise adults only please!

For all the days along the way
