Truly blessed to have one another

Our love story will forever be our favorite, not only because we fell in love with each other, but because of who helped us find one another… It all began when Nici’s mom became Demetrio’s mom‘s hairstylist. As Juanita sat in Selena‘s chair, they began to chat it up and started talking about their kids. Little did they know it was a divine appointment by God. As he started to write Nici and Demetrio’s love story. Nici also worked at the same salon, as a hairstylist. Nici would see Juanita come in from time to time, but never thought anything of it. Juanita also started getting her nails done by Nici sister Janae. When Juanita would come in to get her hair done she would casually bring up Demetrio. As appointments passed, Selena started mentioning Demetrio to Nici telling her how he sounds like a wonderful guy and she should give him a chance. Nici wasn’t looking for a relationship at the time because she was focused on being a mom to Brixton. Nici also shared with her mom that the timing wasn’t right , so her mom just left it as that. But then, as Juanita would come in to get her nails done by Janae. They started to bring up Demetrio and every time Nici would walk by the nail station. Janae made sure to talk about Demetrio extra loud and made sure Nici heard every bit of it. Juanita would sit there and just laugh, But Janae knew exactly what she was doing. Janae would tell Juanita “I’m going to set them up” . After every nail appointment, Janae would make sure to call Nici and tell her she better start talking to Demetrio. Nici told her to stop and just leave it alone, but Janae did not listen. The next time Juanita came in for her nail appointment. Janae gave her one of Nici‘s business cards and told her to give it to Demetrio and have him call her. Demetrio ended up receiving Nici‘s business card but was busy traveling for work, so for a few weeks her card sat on his dresser. On May 15, 2021 Demetrio decided to text Nici introducing himself and asked her if he could schedule an appointment for a haircut. Nici text him back and told him she doesn’t think that’s a good idea because she didn’t want him to know her as the girl that messed up his hair, he text her back saying that was just an excuse for him to see her and ended up asking her on a date. A few weeks later was their 1st date. As Nici was nervous to finally meet Demetrio and see him for the first time she patiently waited as he showed up late because he had to make sure his beautiful curls were perfect. As the date went on, Everything panned out perfectly. Long story short Demetrio was head over heels for Nici and they ended up falling deeply in love and the rest is history….
