Question
Where Should I Park for the ceremony and reception at the DYC?
Answer
There is free parking onsite. We will be providing transportation from Downtown, so please stay tuned on more details. Transportation will be to the venue and back downtown at the end of the reception.

Extra advice for navigating to the venue
Answer
After crossing the Belle Isle Bridge, continue onto the route following your GPS instructions. You will approach a state park booth with 2 lanes, one for those who already have a state park pass and another for buying a state park pass. Regardless of whether or not you have a state park pass, continue on through the "already have a state park pass" lane and drive through to the Detroit Yacht Club. The Yacht Club is private property and does not require you to have a state park pass. Parking is free at the venue.

Is there transportation available?
Answer
Yes. There will be a bus departing from the Marriott Renaissance Center at 3:30 PM to the DYC for the ceremony. The bus will also be available from the DYC back to the Marriott Renaissance Center at 9:30 PM, 10:30 PM, and 11:30 PM.

Parking for guests staying at the Marriott Renaissance Center
Answer
Park at Beaubien Place Garage on second level for $25 per day. There is a skybridge on the second level connecting to The Renaissance Center building and follow signage to check in at Marriott lobby.

Park at Millender Center Garage, which is connected to the Marriott Courtyard.

Is the Venue Outdoor or Indoor?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be held indoors. Cocktail hour will be outside on the balcony, but it is fully covered.

Due to limited capacity we will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed out on your invitation. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Yes, both the reception and ceremony will be held at the Detroit Yacht Club.

What is the Dress Code?

Semi-formal. Suits for men and dresses (e.g. cocktail dress) are appropriate.

What Time Should I Arrive to the Ceremony?
Answer
Please plan to arrive 20-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to ensure you'll have time to find parking and get settled.

We love your little ones! However, due to limited capacity, we are unable to accommodate children unless specified on your invitation.
