Question

When should I book my trip? What dates?

Answer

Our travel agent said it’s best to book by the end of August. Only 10% is due at your time of booking and the remainder is due a month before your departure date. Henry and I will be at the resort Wed, Feb 4 - Mon, Feb 9. You’re welcome to extend/shorten your stay as needed! We recommend arriving either Thurs, Feb 5th or Fri, Feb 6th at the latest.

Question

What information will the travel agent need to book?

Answer

1. Legal name as it appears on your Passport including your full middle name (or license if not yet applied/received) 2. Date of Birth 3. Address, phone number, and email 4. Frequent Flyer number 5. Seating Preference (window, middle aisle) 6. Dates of travel 7. Which room you’d like to book (see resort website for details) 8. If you are sharing a room with someone, make sure she has the information for everyone in your room when booking.

Question

When should I get my passport?

Answer

If you don’t already have one, passports are currently taking 4-6 weeks for regular and 2-3 weeks expedited to process per the US Departement of State, HOWEVER these time frames can change. You should apply no later than November to make sure you’re in the clear! Website for application information: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply.html

Question

What if my passport expires soon?

Answer

Passports must not be expired and must be valid for 6 months beyond your return travel date (August 2026). If your passport expires prior to the same day in August as your return date, you’ll need to have your passport renewed prior to the trip (same processing times apply as outlined above).

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are not registered nor are we asking for gifts. We've been living in sin for the past 4 years and already have everything we need (and then some). The only thing we'd like is your presence at our wedding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No children at the wedding events, please. Our guest list is small and we would like to keep it as an adult celebration. You are more than welcome to bring your kiddos to enjoy the rest of the trip as it is a family friendly resort, you would just have to figure out childcare during the wedding festivities.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This is a beach wedding, so you can keep it fairly casual. Just no t-shirts/jeans/swim trunks for the men and a sundress/maxi-dress for the women (maybe skip the stilettos).
