Is there parking at the Jansen home?

Answer

As most of you who have been to a Jansen party before know, the parking can be tight! For those who do not wish to take the shuttle to and from Thomasville, we ask that you park at the Fresh Market parking lot (1390 Village Square Blvd) and we will have shuttles departing from there to the Jansen home. The shuttles will go from the Jansen home back to Fresh Market all night.

How far is Tallahassee from Thomasville?

Answer

We love that our wedding day will take place in both of our home states - Georgia and Florida! St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Thomasville is a 25-minute drive from the Jansen family home in Tallahassee. We will have transportation for the guests each way!

Should I stay in Thomasville, Georgia or Tallahassee, Florida?

Answer

That is totally up to you! We have booked several hotel blocks in Thomasville, where most of the wedding festivities will be taking place. We have also booked one hotel block in Tallahassee, for those who wish to stay in the bride's hometown. We recommend staying in Thomasville if you will be attending both the Friday night and Saturday night activities. Please reach out to the bride if you have any questions. We will have transportation running from Thomasville to Tallahassee and vice versa all weekend.

What is the dress code?

Our wedding attire is Black Tie. Bring on the Christmas festive! Our cocktail hour will be on the lawn so we do recommend shoes that are good for grass for the ladies :)
