(According to Robert) Janice and I met because I was scrolling through Facebook and saw a picture of her with her friends. I was in awe of her beauty and so I asked David who she was. My friend David then asked Janice if she wanted to meet me but she politely declined. It wasn't until his engagement party that we would happen to be in the same room together. I saw this as an opportunity to introduce myself, even though she didn't want to meet me. Lo and behold nothing really happened that night. I introduced myself (which was quite bold I might add) and that was really it. She put a name to the face and nothing really happened. Over the next year we bumped into each other a few times without any sparks. One day, I asked David what he was doing and he told me he was watching a movie with his high school friends. I knew that Janice was his high school friend, so I asked if I could come. I figured why not just try and hang out with Janice in a group setting. That night went really well because soon after we began talking. Later on I came to find out that she became enamored with me since that night and I must say that that feeling was mutual. We started talking and we hung out once more as a group and the rest is history. :)
(From Janice) Robert proposed on November 9th, 2019 while we were taking the dogs to a park. After months of thinking it was never going to happen, it finally happened! It was a private and joyful moment for us, and we celebrated with an intimate group of family and friends afterwards. We are so excited to get married and not have to drive more than an hour one way to see each other! :)
