One of our favorite date spots over the years. Be sure to check out the new Glassell School of Art across the street!
We come here to celebrate our anniversary every year and order the same thing each time. You MUST try the scallops!
Their pizza is delicious and it's connected to a fun bar, Axelrad. You can't go wrong with beer and pizza!
Paul's favorite: Texas Pecan Janice's favorite: Bavarian Chocolate Banana and hash browns (eaten separately)
We love living near the city's most visited public park. We usually go on walks (i.e. Janice walks while Paul runs), people watch, and say, "hi," to dogs. The McGovern Centennial Garden, Miller Outdoor Theatre, and Houston Zoo are also popular attractions at the park.
The portions are huge, so bring some friends! Finish off your meal with a sweet treat. Niko Niko's is the only place in Houston to get loukoumades -- Greek honey balls.
Our favorite neighborhood restaurant that's walking distance from where we live. The staff is super friendly and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Our favorites: Lebanese chicken fattoush salad and a chocolate chip cookie
The newest edition to the neighborhood, we've loved coming here to study, wedding plan, or grab a bite to eat. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to try one of their Hawaiian beers on tap or coffee from the owner's estate farm in Hawaii.
Art. Free admission. Air conditioned. Go check it out.
