Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Janice Liang and Gavin Miller
If you’re looking for things to do and EAT between wedding events, we’ve rounded up some favorites in Seattle. And if you’re traveling from out of state, we highly recommend extending your trip to explore Washington’s incredible national parks and wilderness!

Seattle activities

Seattle, WA

If it’s your first visit to Seattle, visit some of these classic spots! - Pike Place Market: Wander the market, watch the fish fly, grab a snack, and take in the waterfront views. - Alki Beach or Golden Gardens Park: Beach walks with Olympic Mountain views on a clear day. - Take a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island for classic PNW scenery. - Fremont: Visit the Fremont Troll and check out the Fremont Sunday Market. Also consider some activities more local to South Seattle, where we live! - Grab brunch at Geraldine's Counter or Both Ways Cafe. If you're feeling brave, wait in line at Flour Box to grab donuts before they sell out! - Go for a walk at Kubota Garden, a beautiful Japanese garden that we went on one of our first dates! - Go for a swim at Martha Washington Park or one of the many docks along Lake Washington.
