We're getting married!

We met when I moved to Houston, excited to start a new position at Nike. On my first visit to the store, my mother pointed out Eugene, making sure to mention that he was handsome. Thinking nothing of it, I replied, "We will work together, so it's not going to happen." Months went by, and with the rise in popularity of Words with Friends, the store team decided to share our handles to foster team bonding. Little did I know that a few games would lead to the start of our forever. We began playing together, and our competitive spirit ignited an exchange of words and conversation. What started as a friendly game soon evolved into something deeper. Through the game, we discovered we shared a love of competition, and keeping our minds sharp through words, weaving them together through letter tiles and playful banter. If you ask him, he will say I cheated...maybe a little. We will celebrate 14 years of love and family with a beautiful wedding on June 26, 2026, a testament to our bond that began with a simple game and grew into an everlasting commitment. We are still weaving our story through letter tiles and creating a life filled with love and happiness.
