Update: Thank you for joining us virtually through zoom for our micro-wedding! While it is not what we had planned, we are still looking forward to our big day and we're so thankful that you'll be able to participate safely from home :) _____________________________________________________________________________________ Our Story: We met in high school through mutual friends, but Janice didn't want to be official until college. Luckily, this gave us a chance to grow our friendship without the pressures of being boyfriend and girlfriend. Our first date was a total accident! We were going to watch a movie with a few friends but they all dropped out last minute. When we got to the movie theater there was a huge carnival that we hadn't expected so we played carnival games, rode the ferris wheel, and ate frozen yogurt. It really felt meant to be from that moment on, even through a few long years of being "LA long distance" (meaning the actual distance was short but traffic made our commutes to each other ridiculously long). For about 5 years (out of 10!) we were only able to see each other on weekends while braving the 405, the 110, the 10, and the 91 for each other. For over a decade we've been there for each other's biggest milestones: a handful of graduations, moving to different parts of LA, adopting 2 cats together, etc. After so much waiting, we're excited to finally be living in the same city again and to be starting this next chapter of our lives hand-in-hand, as we've faced each step so far.
