We met at the Mecca, Howard University during our 1st year there. We recognized the intense energy, undeniable familiarity, and complimentary differences. What seemed purely coincidental, we are now aware was an undeniably intense bond that has resulted in an enduring support for one another. Separated by time and distance, we have realized deep emotional growth. Through our combined adulting experiences of active military duty, medical training , advancing our careers and creating two beautiful families; we have remained Respectful and Patient. Four decades after our first encounter, we are still drawn to one another, sharing an intense connection. Ours is a love that endures and a friendship that transcends time and circumstance.
